Antonio Brown was recently suspended for three games for producing a false vaccine report.
According to an article by the Tampa Bay Times, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star wide receiver’s girlfriend, Cydney Moreau, had her messages exposed as she he told his former chef that he was willing to pay $500 for a fake vaccine card.
An investigation followed and Brown was found guilty and punished accodingly. In the midst of his suspension came many jokes on Twitter, one of which Tyreek Hill of the Kansas City Chiefs reacted hilariously to on the platform.
Antonio Brown has been sidelined with an ankle injury since week 6, so the suspension likely didnt change anything that wasn’t going to happen anyway. He is said to be available in week 16 when the Bucs meet the Panthers in Carolina.
As of know, Bruce Arians and the Bucs front office have not made a decision on whether they are going to discipline Brown any further as he was placed on a short leash last season when they signed him.
The Buccaneers released a statement on Thursday stating, “We appreciate the League’s timely handling of this matter and recognize the importance of the health and safety protocols that have been established. We will continue to implement all league COVID-19 protocols.”

Brown’s attorney, Sean Burstyn, tells CNN, “Mr. Brown is vaccinated and continues to support the vaccine for any person for whom it is appropriate. The NFL made its determination and, instead of going through the drawn out and distracting process of challenging the outcome, Mr. Brown wrapped this up promptly and he will use this time as an opportunity to treat his ankle injury.
“Mr. Brown will be motivated, well rested, and in the best shape of his life when he returns in week 16.”
