Hate them or love them, but the Dallas Cowboys appear to be good once again.
The Cowboys were trailing at halftime of Sunday’s game against the Panthers, but it did not matter as the offense would eventually assert its will and dominate. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott threw three touchdowns as part of a 23-0 run that powered the Cowboys on their way to a 36-28 home victory.
By the end of the game, Prescott had four touchdown passes overall and the Cowboys ran all over the Panthers for 245 rushing yards to give them their first loss of the season.
After the game, Prescott said that the performance should send a message to all defenses around the league on what the Cowboys offense is capable of doing.
“We think we can beat you with the run, we can beat you with the pass,” Prescott said, via Jori Epstein of USAToday.com. “Whatever you want to give us, the openings, we’re going to take them.”
Dallas boast the NFL’s No. 4 offense and are averaging over 31 points a game, which includes scoring a ridiculous 77 points in the last two games alone.
The difference with Dak behind center is evident as the team has their 3rd win of the year through four weeks, when it took them to Week 11 in 2020 after he went down for the year with a gruesome injury.
