Shareef O’Neal
Shareef Rashaun O’Neal was born on January 11th, 2000. He is the son of Shaunie O’Neal and Shaquille O’Neal. Like his father, Shareef has had a basketball career.
Shareef originally began playing college basketball for UCLA. He had first committed to Arizona, but after the coach raised concerns about bribery, he changed his commitment to UCLA. He then transferred to Louisiana State University. His college career was somewhat waylaid by different medical problems, one of which required open-heart surgery, but he seems to be back on track now.
Shareef O’Neal is a power forward and signed a contract with G-League Ignite for the 2024 season. Shareef is one of the biggest social media users in the family and often posts snaps and videos of Shaq, his mother, and his siblings on his Instagram account.
Amirah O’Neal
Amirah Saanah O’Neal was born on November 13th, 2001. She is also the daughter of Shaunie O Neal. At 6 feet 2 inches, Amirah is one of Shaq’s tallest daughters.
Amirah played basketball at her high school, Crossroads, for many years. She played as a walk-on at her dad’s alma mater, LSU, in 2018 and for the school in 2019. She majored in Agricultural Business while at the school. She currently plays for Texan Southern University.
Shaqir O’Neal
Like his older siblings, Shaqir O’Neal played basketball at his high school and, like his sister Amirah, at Texas Southern University. He is a forward and a shooting guard.
He picked Texas Southern to help change the conversation about athletes committing to play at historically Black colleges and universities. He was ranked as a three-star recruit.
Me’arah O’Neal
The youngest of the Shaq kids, Me’arah Saanah O’Neal, was born in 2006. She stands six feet three inches and attends Episcopal High School. Me’arah plays center in the California Interscholastic Federation.
In November 2023, Me’arah announced her commitment to play basketball at the University of Florida. She received offers from over a dozen schools, including Louisiana State University.
Taahirah O’Neal
Taahirah O’Neal is the daughter of Shaquille O’Neal and his ex-girlfriend, Arnetta Yardsborough. Unlike the rest of the Shaq children, Taahirah isn’t involved in basketball.
Instead, Taahirah graduated from Oglethorpe University in 2019 with a sociology, politics, and African American studies degree. She is now a social media marketing and community outreach specialist at Pepsico. She also works with various charitable organizations and activist causes.
Taahirah is a lot more private than her younger siblings, but she still turns up to support her family. She surprised her father for his 49th birthday. According to her LinkedIn profile, she is a part-time social media assistant at “Mine O Mine”, her dad’s entertainment company.
Myles O’Neal
Myles Baptiste O’Neal is Shaquille O’Neal’s stepson. He is O’Neal’s ex-wife Shaunie’s child from a past relationship. Myles was born in 1997. Myles has worked in modeling but currently focuses on music and working as a DJ. He shares his passion for music with Shaq since Shaquille has released four different rap albums.
Myles O’Neal has also appeared on various reality television programs, including The Hills’ reboot. In 2023, Shaq told PEOPLE that Myles had assisted him in managing live sets for his onstage alter-ego, DJ Diesel.
