Donald Trump is taking a victory lap this week. The Tokyo Olympics crossed over with a Donald Trump rally last week when the former president encouraged a hyped-up Phoenix crowd to boo the U.S. Women’s soccer team.
“Wokeism makes you lose,” Trump said.
“The U.S. Women’s soccer team is a very good example of what’s going on,” he continued.
A few days, the United States Women’s National Team narrowly lost to Canada 1-0 in the Olympic semifinals in Japan, ending the world champion’s bid for the gold medal.
“It sucks,” said US forward Megan Rapinoe after Monday’s defeat. “Obviously, you never want to lose. You never want to lose in a world championship, you never want to lose to Canada, obviously, and you never want to lose playing the way we did.
“Every player in the locker room has 100 things that we would all want to do better and that’s the most frustrating thing for all of us. It’s sad because these things only come around every so often. It’s a tough one to swallow.”
On Thursday, the former released a wild statement after the team defeated Australia to give them the bronze medal.

“If our soccer team, headed by a radical group of Leftist Maniacs, wasn’t woke, they would have won the Gold Medal instead of the Bronze.
Woke means you lose, everything that is woke goes bad, and our soccer team certainly has. There were, however, a few Patriots standing. Unfortunately, they need more than that respecting our Country and National Anthem.
They should replace the wokesters with Patriots and start winning again. The woman with the purple hair played terribly and spends too much time thinking about Radical Left politics and not doing her job!”
