The wife of Pittsburgh Steeler backup quarterback Dwayne Haskins has been charged with domestic battery after a July 3rd incident at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Police responded to a call at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and found part of a tooth and blood in the room, both of which reportedly belonged to Haskins.
Haskins was reportedly transported to the hospital where he told police that he and his wife married in March and were visiting Las Vegas with friends. Haskins explained that the couple got into a fight after he and his friends went to a nightclub, but didn’t wait for the rest of the group.
The altercation turned physical once he returned. Haskins reportedly told a security officer at The Cosmopolitan that his wife had punched him and cut his lip open.

Haskins was signed by the Steelers after he was released by the Washington Football Team in December.
His wife, Haskins-Gondrezick, played basketball at Michigan State University. She is the daughter of Grant Gondrezick and Lisa Harvey-Gondrezick, and her sister Kysre was the fourth overall pick in last year’s WNBA draft, playing for the Indiana Fever.
