Tennessee Titans’ defensive end Rashad Weaver was one of many people still on their family’s cell phone plan, but those days are now over.
Weaver’s mother, Autumn DeLaPorte, recently informed him that he would need to start paying for his own phone since he’s in the National Football League now.
“My mom decided today, on her birthday she wanted to break 23 years of trust and bond we had built….” Weaver tweeted. “By telling me I’m in the NFL and I need to pay for my own phone bill.
“I feel betrayed,” he said.
Unfortunately, not a lot of people realize he was actually joking about being upset.
