Rob Gronkowski’s future wife attended Haddam-Killingworth High School. Camille was the host of her high school’s broadcasting program, lacrosse varsity captain, and a cheerleader.
Camille went on to graduate from Eastern Connecticut State University with a major in Communications and a minor in Business. During her time at Eastern, Camille played lacrosse before joining the dance squad full-time. She was also an anchor for the school’s network show TV22.
How Did Camille Kostek Get Famous?
Contrary to what most people think, Camille is more than just a model. With her background in dance, Camille moved on to become a professional cheerleader. She also has done multiple hosting gigs as well as acting which made her famous. Camille even got in touch with her entrepreneurial side and owns a jewelry and swimsuit line.
Professional Cheerleading
When Camille was 19, she began cheerleading professionally for the Hartford Colonials of the United Football League. Then, during her junior year at university, Camille made the New England Patriots cheerleading roster of the National Football League (NFL).
She took part in the NFL Tour in China as a Patriots ambassador, teaching at youth cheer clinics and performing routines. Before retiring, she performed for Super Bowl XLIX in her final game, where the Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks on February 1st, 2015, in Arizona’s University of Phoenix Stadium.
Hosting
As a communications graduate, Camille has hosted shows on ABC, CBS, and Fox affiliate channels and co-anchored the WPRI-TV program The Rhode Show in 2015. In 2016 and 2017, she covered sports events, including NASCAR, for Dirty Water TV on NESN. In addition to hosting and contributing content for an array of events, she has also provided lifestyle, red carpet, and sports coverage for Maxim and Sports Illustrated.
Right out of college, Camille had the chance to work for ESPN’s Saturday Night Football, but she opted to model and travel instead. TBS announced in September 2020 that she will host the game show Wipeout.
Modeling
In 2015, Camille joined her first modeling agency in Boston. In the following years, she became a model and brand ambassador for Equinox, Benrus, and Dune Jewelry. Her early modeling work included print and television ads for New Balance, Nissan, Rebag, and several others. In addition to doing editorials for magazines like Elle, she has graced the covers of luxury lifestyle magazines.

Camille has admitted struggling to secure modeling representation early on in her modeling career due to her height and size. She was often told height, 5’8, was too short, or her 4/6 dress size wasn’t thin enough.
She eventually heard about an open casting call for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and tried her luck by submitting a video of herself and her experience. Thanks to this video, Camille got scouted right away, and her modeling career with Sports Illustrated has only skyrocketed since then.

How Did Rob Gronkowski Meet Camille Kostek?
Rob Gronkowski and Camille Kostek have one of those classic love stories that started at a Patriots charity event on Thanksgiving back in 2013. They kept things under wraps for a while but went public with their relationship in September 2015. These days, you can catch them splitting their time between Foxborough, Massachusetts, and sunny Tampa, Florida.
So, here’s how it all began: Camille was a New England Patriots cheerleader in her rookie year, and Gronk was already in his third year with the team. They crossed paths at a volunteer event, thanks to Camille’s agent, who introduced them. At first, it was all professional – strictly business meetings and work-related stuff.
But after a few months, things started to change. During a dinner with friends, Gronk made Camille laugh so hard she had tears streaming down her face. That’s when she knew this was more than just a business connection. She saw a future with Gronk, and the rest, as they say, is history!
