As the jury was deliberating Tuesday the fate of ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, another police-involved shooting had just happened in Ohio.
Body camera footage showed 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant charging at one girl and knocking her down to the ground while officers approach the scene. She then turned her attention to another girl in pink and a knife could be seen in her hand during that process.
An officer shot Bryant four times before she collapsed to the ground. She died at the hospital.
LeBron James reacted to the news on Twitter, in a now-deleted tweet, by showing an image of the officer and writing “YOU’RE NEXT” while hashtagging “ACCOUNTABILITY”.
A ton of people did not like what he did and promptly blasted him for it.
Former MLB player Aubrey Huff was one of them as he took to Twitter and told the Lakers star to go ‘fuck himself.’
“Hey @KingJames go fuck yourself for doxing a police officer for just doing his job.

You’re a huge reason the NBA is down 80% in viewership within the last year.”
Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther described the whole situation as a tragedy.
“It’s a tragic day in the city of Columbus. It’s a horrible, heartbreaking situation,” Ginther said Tuesday night. “The city of Columbus lost a [16-year-old] girl today. We know based on this footage, the officer took action to protect another young girl in our community. But a family is grieving tonight. And this young [16-year-old] girl will never be coming home.”
