Not only were XFL fans robbed of watching more football with the reboot of the league, but it appears we were alos robbed of a video game as well.
When the XFL was forced to file for bankruptcy due to the coronavirus pandemic, it took away the jobs of thousands of people and a video game that was in production at the time, according to XFL News Room.
Earlier this week, the fans got great news when the league had been purchased by Dany Garcia, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Gerry Cardinale (RedBird Capital). Soon after, we also found out that the XFL was very close to being added to Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football.
“If you’re not aware, Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football is a game where you can select your league format (130 US teams or 27 Canadian teams) and create your own College Football universe by customizing every team, player, uniform and logo. Recruit the next College superstar, dominate the rankings and earn your way into a Bowl or Playoff game.”
