Earlier this month, EA Sports announced the player ratings for the Top-10 quarterbacks in Madden 21 – the newest rendition of the popular video game set to be released on August 25.
Lamar Jackson, this year’s cover athlete, is the third highest-rated QB in the game with an overall rating of 94. He trailed the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson, while ranking one overall point better than Drew Brees and four points higher than Tom Brady.
After the reigning league MVP snatched up the No. 1 spot in the Top-100 players in 2020, a teammate of his had a question for EA Sports.
Marquise Brown took to Twitter and called out Madden for only giving Jackson a 94 overall after the amount of accolade he racked up in the past year.
Jackson threw for 3,127 yards, a league-leading 36 touchdowns to only six interceptions. He also rushed for 1,206 yards and seven touchdowns on just 176 carries, leading the entire league in rushing yards-per-attempt.
