The future of the 2020 NFL season is in major jeopardy after a bunch of NFL players took to Twitter on Sunday in a coordinated move to have their voices heard on how the league plans to make things safe for them during the coronavirus pandemic.
Cardinals QB Kyler Murray tweeted his own thoughts on the issue, which drew a response from a user who claimed they wouldn’t be watching football this year.
“Lol I highly doubt you don’t watch football this season,” Murray wrote. “S**t’ll be all over the television. So go ahead and be ignorant.”
That fan stated his threat to not watch the league was due to players getting ready to kneel for the Anthem once again.
“Trust me when I say I won’t watch. Kneeling to me during the anthem is disrespectful. Sorry but that’s my red line. I’m aware of all the issues at hand and support the end to racism. Always have and always will. If it wasn’t about the flag you wouldn’t do it during the anthem.”

I think it was safe to say that nobody cared about his viewership.
Kyler Murray recorded 3,722 passing yards, 64.4% completion percentage, and scored 20 touchdowns last season en route to the 2019 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
The Cardinals ended the 2019 season on a disappointing 5-10 record.
