Aaron Hernandez’s alleged secret prison lover, Kyle Kennedy, is getting ready to have his 15 minutes of fame when he addresses their relationship for the first time on TV.
“That was my right-hand man. We used to do everything together,” Kennedy says in the upcoming REELZ special Aaron Hernandez: Jailhouse Lover Tells All. “To this day, I tell people he’s the most loyalist person I’ve ever met.”
The Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center inmate claims that his relationship with Hernandez turned sexual soon after the former New England Patriots tight end arrived at the facility to serve his life sentence for the murder of his friend Odin Lloyd.
“[We had sex] once or twice a week, whenever there was a good opportunity,” Kennedy alleges.
Rumors about Hernandez’s sexuality have been talked about for years, even his high school friend and football teammate Dennis SanSoucie previously claimed they had an intimate relationship between 7th and 11th grade.

Hernandez’s fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins, however, has stated that she “saw no indication” that he was gay or bisexual.
However, Aaron’s brother, Jonathan Hernandez, remembered a time his brother actually told their mother that he has had sex with men prior to him taking his life.
“He’s like, ‘Mom, you’re going die never knowing your son,’” the older Hernandez said. “Then all of a sudden they have this conversation and they’re both flooded with tears across from each other.”
Jonathan said it was still unclear if him being in the closet was the pressure that pushed him into killing Odin Lloyd.
“That’s one of the questions and, you know, head scratches that they still have regarding really this entire case,” Hernandez said when discussing his brother’s sexuality and motive behind the murder of Lloyd. “There’s just so many questions regarding everything. And, for me to sit here and say it was this or that, I can’t say. All you can do is look at the evidence that was provided.”
Hernandez died by suicide in his prison cell in April 2017. He was 27.
