Two episodes into “The Last Dance” and it seems nothing could possibly get any crazier than the first two hours we have already witnessed.
Not even 24 hours after a two-hour premiere that sent the sports world into hysterics, the NBA put out a roughly one-minute teaser trailer for Episode 3 that features Dennis Rodman who is about to get his time to shine.
Basically, Scottie Pippen had finally returned from his surgery in 1998, and Dennis Rodman saw it as an opportunity to ask for a Vegas vacation to blow off some steam. Head coach Phil Jackson then asked him if he could make it just 48 hours, but Jordan was concerned about the whole idea.
“While Scottie was out, Dennis was a model citizen to a point where it was driving him [expletive] insane. So, when Scottie came back, Dennis wanted to take a vacation,” Michael Jordan said in the teaser. “I come to practice, Phil calls me in and says, ‘Look, Dennis wants to tell you something.’ And when Dennis wants to tell me something, I knew it’s not something I [expletive] wanted to hear.”
SPOILER ALERT not shown on the clip.

“He did not come back on time,” Jordan said. “We had to go get his ass out of bed, and I’m not going to say what’s in his bed, where he was, blah, blah, blah.”
“There’s a knock on the door and it’s Michael Jordan,” Rodman’s ex-wife, Carmen Electra, said. “I hid. I didn’t want him to see me like that so I’m hiding behind the couch with covers on me.”
“Dennis came back and joined the team and that’s the way it went that year,” Phil Jackson said.
What a story.
