Just when sports fans thought they were done seeing anything related to The Last Dance documentary — Saturday Night Live went ahead and showed some never-before-seen footage featuring first-time host Keegan-Michael Key as the Chicago Bulls legend.
Key took Michael Jordan’s competitive spirit and famous sayings during the hilarious sketch.
“And I took that personally,” Key said, recreating the popular internet meme from the docuseries.
Of course, SNL had to have other NBA stars like Dennis Rodman and Charles Barkley, who were portrayed by Chris Redd and Kenan Thompson.
“The thing about Mikey is that he didn’t want to just beat you, he wanted to dominate you,” Redd’s Dennis Rodman recalls. “He wanted to embarrass you.”
“If you’re not playing to win, why play?” Key says.
