It appears as though the Antonio Brown sweepstakes is nearing its end, and three new teams have joined the mix while two have reportedly bowed out.
According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, it may not be long before the Pittsburgh Steelers move their pro bowl wide receiver to the highest bidder. In fact, ESPN’s Adam Schefter has provided a more specific timeline, stating that the deal is expected to be in place by Friday.
Rapoport also stated that the Steelers have asked teams to submit their highest bids ASAP, and while the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals are believed to have backed out, three unknown teams are said to have emerged in the battle for Brown’s services.
Sounds like this entire saga is nearing its end. Stay tuned.
