Kevin Garnett has been with his wife Brandi for 14 years, but that would all come to an end after she filed for divorce in July 2018 and would then ask for physical custody of the couple’s two children and for the court to award her spousal support and child support.
Garnett responded by asking the court to terminate spousal support for Brandi, citing a prenup the couple signed a month before the marriage.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Brandi is requesting $146,000 in monthly spousal support in addition to $46,000 in monthly child support, which would equate to over $2.3 million a year.
That’s not all.
Brandi’s also asking for $300k in attorney fees immediately to cover the cost of the divorce proceedings so far and estimated future costs to hammer out an agreement.
There’s more — according to the docs, Brandi’s requesting an additional $25k to retain counsel in another financial matter involving Kevin allegedly getting swindled out of $77 MILLION.
Garnett made upwards of $300 million during his entire NBA career, including an additional $5 million a year currently.
